I went to South Carolina and stayed in Charleston. Following are some of the best attractions in my opinion.

Boone Hall  — Boone Hall Plantation is one of America’s oldest working plantations, continually growing crops for over 320 years. The antebellum era plantation is located in Mount Pleasant. It was his heirs that built the original wooden farmhouse on the land in 1790, as well as planted more than 80 live oaks along the mile-long driveway in 1743 – now known as the famous “Avenue of Oaks.” ( $24 per adult)

I also went to Kiawah Island if you do have a chance it’s a great place to go visit.

Kiawah Island  —

boasts 10 miles of pristine beach and is comprised of two areas commonly referred to as East Beach and West Beach. Besides the many private beach accesses available to property owners, Beachwalker County Park, located on the west end (West Beach) of Kiawah Island, offers ocean frontage and a river view, along with the only public beach access on Island.

Atlantic Room  Restaurant —

Sophisticated eatery at Kiawah resort with eclectic seafood dishes, a long wine list & ocean views.
